Gaye earned her undergraduate nursing degree at Loyola University of Chicago and her graduate degree in nursing from at the University of Illinois at Chicago. She’s been a practicing midwife for over 15 years, with over 12 of those years at North Shore Associates for Gynecology and Obstetrics.

Gaye is a certified nurse midwife. She maintains memberships with the Illinois Society for Advanced Practice Nurses and the American College of Nurse-Midwives. Gaye participates on the NorthShore University Evanston Hospital committee to institute nitrous oxide for labor anesthesia. She’s also an adjunct faculty member at The University of Illinois at Chicago, Northwestern University, and Frontier University. Gaye focuses on gynecology and obstetrics. Gaye’s passion to become a midwife comes from her belief that each woman is unique. To Gaye, each woman should be empowered to be an active participant in her own care.

Gaye lives in Chicago with her partner and four children. When Gaye isn’t with patients, teaching, or volunteering, she enjoys gardening, reading and traveling.
