H. Jacob Saleh, M.D.
Dr. Saleh is a founding member of North Shore Associates in Gynecology and Obstetrics (NSAGO). He has been practicing obstetrics and gynecology for 28 years, all of them at NSAGO. Dr. Saleh did his undergraduate work at Loyola University of Chicago, earned his medical degree at the Universidad Autonóma De Guadalajara and Loyola Stritch School of Medicine, and completed his residency at Loyola Stritch’s St. Francis Hospital.
Dr. Saleh is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology. He maintains memberships in The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, The American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and The Association of Professors of Gynecology and Obstetrics.
Dr. Saleh was drawn to become an OBGYN because it offers a great balance of building long term relationships with patients, providing obstetric care and a wide array of surgical procedures. He has a special interest in laproscopic surgery.
Dr. Saleh is active in teaching. He is a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. He is also the director of undergraduate medical education at Northshore University Health System’s Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Saleh lives in Wilmette with his wife Laura Ann. When he’s not with patients or teaching, he enjoys spending time with his children, traveling, and playing golf.
