Elizabeth Perelman, M.D.
Dr. Perelman earned her undergraduate degree at Brown University. Prior to medical school, she worked as a high school science teacher for four years at low-income schools in New York City through Teach for America. She earned her master’s degree in education during that time. She completed medical school at Drexel University College of Medicine and residency at Rush University. She maintains a membership with the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Dr. Perelman joined North Shore Associates in Gynecology and Obstetrics in 2020.
Dr. Perelman was drawn to Obstetrics and Gynecology because of her interest in women’s health. She loves delivering babies and feels grateful to have the opportunity to build relationships with her patients as she cares for them in all phases of their reproductive lives in the ambulatory, hospital, and surgical settings.
Dr. Perelman lives in Chicago with her partner. Outside of work, she enjoys running, biking, cooking and traveling.
