We're Thrilled to be Recognized!

We look back at 2019 and are grateful for the recognition our providers have received.

Dr. Saleh received the Golden Apple Award for Excellence in Resident Teaching from the University of Chicago, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology senior residents at their 2019 Graduation Dinner in June.

All NSAGO physicians were honored as recipients of the 2019 Friends of Illinois Midwifery Award. This annual award is given by the Illinois chapter of ACNM (American College of Nurse Midwives) to physicians who foster a mutually supportive and collaborative practice model in caring for women.  Two of our dearest NSAGO midwife alums, Trish Wollccott and Mara Evans traveled to Chicago for the downtown ceremony.

Our midwives were again recognized with the ACNM Certificate of National Best Practice Award.  This honor highlights midwives who consistently achieve low primary cesarean section rates, low preterm delivery rates and achieve high breastfeeding compliance among their new moms.
